Description
Textured vegetable protein (TVP), also known as textured soy protein or soy/soya meat it is a vegan plant based mince that is low carb and low fat. This nutty and nutritious product is made from soy flour after the soybean oil has been extracted, then cooked under pressure, extruded, and dried. Our TVP has a long shelf life and is an excellent protein and fibre source. It is quick to cook, with a protein content equal to that of the meat, but having almost no fat. Our TVP is Australian made.

Nature First TVP is a versatile product that takes on the texture of mince in cooking. TVP is ultra low carb, low fat, high in fibre, protein and iron. Use to make vegetarian/vegan versions of traditional meat dishes such as chilli, Bolognese, pasta sauces, tacos/nachos, burgers, casseroles, soups or burritos. TVP can also be used as a low cost, highly nutritious extender in any meat or poultry dishes, and in tuna salads. TVP is very lightweight and is useful when backpacking or camping. Being shelf stable and simply requiring soaking to reconstitute, it is ideal for travel or keeping on hand in the pantry. The caramel colour comes from a burnt sugar caramel and our TVP is GMO free, sulphite, preservative and synthetic additive free.
